HR MacMillan Space Center, Vancouver, BC

This session, is part of the Indigenomics IMPACT event on April 7th- 9th 2025 in Vancouver.

The Indigenomics LEGO DESIGN Corporate Reconciliation Action Planning workshop is a transformative, one-day innovation session designed to inspire businesses and organizations to engage meaningfully in building economic reconciliation outcomes

This session will utilize the LEGO Serious Play (LSP) methodology to foster creativity, dialogue, and actionable outcome in building your company or organization’s Reconciliation Action Plan. Guided by expert facilitators, participants will explore how their business or organization can align with the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). These principles will be translated into Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) that prioritizes Indigenous economic inclusion, respect for Indigenous rights, partnerships and advancing Indigenous social and economic outcomes. By the end of the session, participants will have developed a clear framework to integrate their reconciliation objectives into a strategic framework, ensuring meaningful relationships and measurable and lasting impact.

A Reconciliation Action Plan is a structured framework that outlines how a business or organization will contribute to building economic reconciliation outcomes. These plans are rooted in actionable commitments. Participants will identify their approaches to reconciliation planning. By fostering accountability and collaboration, participants will create their own business or organizational specific initial reconciliation action plan framework. The goal of this workshop is to bring company leadership together to identify business and organization insights to begin building the content required for the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan.
