Bernd Christmas is a business lawyer focusing on Indigenous economic development. Currently he is a partner in the Indigenous owned infrastructure oriented Longhouse Capital. Most recently he was the CEO for Nch’kay Development Corporation. He was prior to that, the CEO of Gitpo Storms Corporation. He was a partner in the Aboriginal Law Practice at Cassels Brock and is a member of the Mi’kmaq community of Membertou. He is the former CEO of the Membertou. Bernd has sat on numerous National and International Boards and Commissions such as the Boards of I.G. Wealth Management, Canada Post, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Indigenous charity, Outside Looking In to name a few.
