Bill joined Superior Propane in 2018. Superior Propane is Canada’s leading distributor of lowemission propane to help industry and communities displace carbon-intense fuels with a cleaner, safer alternative. Bill’s role includes strategic business development, energy transition, Indigenous partnerships and Government relations. Bill is committed to maintaining Superior’s position as an energy solution provider with a secure propane supply, unmatched distribution network, and a strong focus on safety and compliance. In June 2023, Superior’s parent company Superior Plus, completed the acquisition of Certarus, which adds CNG, RNG and hydrogen to Superior’s energy mix, making it a leader in Canada’s energy transition. Bill has over 25 years work experience in the energy industry across Canada. Bill’s skill set drives mutually beneficial value to all parties, builds deep relationships, and embeds integrity across all business activity. Bill’s efforts and accomplishments have been recognized as a recipient of various awards, including CAPP’s Sustainability Award and IAP2’s Leadership Award. Bill grew up in Wasaga Beach, ON and has lived in Calgary the past 30 years with his wife and three sons. During his personal time, Bill is an active volunteer in minor sports as a Board member with Hockey Alberta supporting the growth of Indigenous hockey. He also is a volunteer with Heroes Hockey, the Spirit of Christmas, and the Canadian Children’s Brain Cancer Foundation. Bill also enjoys golf and traveling to warm destinations with his family.
