19 May Derek Hansom Hungerford Properties

Derek Hansom is a member of Skowkale First Nation and oversees the engagement and outcomes for Indigenous involvement in Hungerford Properties projects, including involvement in active projects, development of new opportunities and establishing legacy components to our work. Derek has extensive experience in community and social development including health, First Nations leadership engagement, the incorporation of values, culture and the integration into services and decision making. Prior to joining Hungerford Properties, Derek was an elected leader for his community, supported the Regional Chief of BC on his Economic Development file in addition to a number of board and volunteer roles focussed on advancing outcomes for Indigenous people and Nations.
