Sage Lacerte is Carrier from the Lake Babine Nation and a respected leader in Indigenous-led impact investing, economic inclusion, and social change. She is the Founder of Sage Initiative, Canada’s first all-Indigenous womxn impact investment collective.

Sage currently serves as Director of Inclusion at Boann Impact Capital, where she advances inclusive investment practices and Indigenous economic participation. From 2018 to 2022, she served as the National Youth Ambassador for the Moose Hide Campaign, a grassroots movement engaging Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys to end violence against women and children, with a strong focus on post-secondary institutions.

She holds a degree from the University of Victoria in Gender Studies and is informed by Indigenous knowledge from her relations across Turtle Island and beyond. Sage is also a certified BIPOC birthworker and doula.
