Vijai is a politico and public policy enthusiast with a range of policy experience at various international, national and local institutions. Vijai led the MP Exit Interview project at the Samara Centre for Democracy and lent his voice to the award-winning podcast Humans of the House which exposed the internal political dynamics of the House of Commons. He has also held research positions at the Bay Area Climate Change Council, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, the OECD, and is currently the Manager of Policy and Government Relations at the Brampton Board of Trade. He is passionate about local economic development, community wealth building, and Third Spaces.
